I do not like horses...

Hello friends sorry it's been so long! It takes me a while to write these. These past few weeks have been a blast and very difficult at the same time.

We put our friend Heni on date, her brother and cousin are also taking the lessons with her! I continue to be impressed by these kids. Kids are so smart, like wow!! Our friend Merelyn is progressing super fast we hope to put her on date real soon! She's awesome, its cool to see how the gospel can change people. Our other friend Jessica was super anti a while ago and reached out to us via media referral and felt very strongly that she wants to have the gospel in her life again! So cool!!

FUNNY STORIES:
• Funfact: I can put 32 small plastic ducks in my hair we were going to put more but sadly we ran out. And apparently the other Sisters told their young women's so now there always on the look out for me and I have no idea who they are! 😂
• Sister Hyun had been missing Korean food so we found and Asian strip mall. And lets just say she went crazy! It was a lot of fun! Our last stop was Korean BBQ and apparently there's a difference between BBQ and Barbecue! But anyway we got the BBQ and she was so happy! We called it the Korean power up. She was dancing and doing happy zoomies around the apartment!
• We had a glow stick dance party it was sick I haven't been that sweaty since summer!! Thanks mom for the glow sticks!
• We did face masks and Sister Sear kept calling herself master Shifu from Kung Fu panda I didn't understand why until I looked at the picture lol!
• We got to feed the Luecks horses treats. And lets just say that's the day I found out I don't like horses... they scare me they can beat you up in a second if they want. And their mouths made my hand feel weird.

COUNT YOUR MANY BLESSINGS:
• We went to Disao and I got this really fun Keychain and when I look at it, it always makes me laugh. :)
• The lizards are starting to come out! Hehehe!!
• We see our neighbor a lot and he's super kind when we went to CVS this week for a few reasons he said hi and we chatted with him for a bit! There a cool family, next time, bring up restored truth?????????????  :))
• We got to eat fancy sushi with Sergio.
• Our friend Merelyn is willing to meet with us!
• Our bestie Kersha bore her testimony yesterday and she did an awesome job! It was her first time, were so proud of her!

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:
• Recently I've been studying about learning to love your challenges. And one day it was especially hard. Missions are not easy, but I can testify Heavenly Father has ways of cheering you up and lifting your spirits if you turn to Him in prayer and are willing to look. I came across a conference talk by Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin. And its called "COME WHAT MAY AND LOVE IT". It's such a beautiful talk about learning to love your challenges and seeking the best thing. I encourage you guys to read it. Its really good!!

New comp Sister Hyun

This week was a good week! We found 4 new people! And we're going to put our friend Heni on date! Members have been working with their friends which is awesome! Nothing much this week, pretty good week! The mission tour is this week!! Wooot woot Elder Alfonso of the seventies coming!!

FUNNY STORIES:
• So... yeah I accidentally gave Sister Hyuns Graham Crackers to the Elders... and Sister Hyun REALLY LOVES GRAHAM CRACKERS... LIKE A LOT!! And sadly I couldn't attach a video but she made me do an apology video. She forgave me, bit will never let me live it down!!
• Sister Hyun taught us how to say Korean Catchphrases don't know what they actually mean, but she laughs at us every time we say them... sooooo lol
• Turns out I can fit about 30 tiny plastic ducks in my hair! 🐥 Yay new record!

COUNT YOUR MANY BLESSINGS:
• Sister Fillmore gave us the best blackBerry pie I've ever had!!!!!!!! So good!!!!
• We caught our friend AJ at McDonald's and we got to give him a Book of Mormon and was able to teach him the Restoration on the spot and it was cool because he was asking us some awesome questions! We were so excited!!!
• We got to go the mission office and pick up Sister Hyuns bike and we got to see Sister Bell!!
• We got to get Joe's Ice cream and shaved ice and it was SO good!

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:
D&C 46:9
"Wherefore, beware lest ye are deceived; and that ye may not be deceived seek ye earnestly the best gifts, always remembering for what they are given;"
God gives us spiritual gifts for a reason. We are each given unique gifts that can help us here on earth and the life to come!

Im not dead

So sorry friend I haven't written in a While! I'm not dead I promise! These weeks have been crazy! We had transfers and my new Companion is Sister Hyun, who's from South Korea which is pretty cool! She asked me to teach her how to be more American. So ive taught her how to do the Hoky Poky, what Ground Hogs day is and this week I'm going to teach her how to make Grilled cheese sandwiches! It'd been a lot of fun! So sorry this one's short, and MOM look I sent an email! Mwahahaha! Please don't come after me!

FUNNY STORIES:
• We had to move my mattress to the bunkbed. So me and Sister Church pick it up and it's WET! And we're all confused... until i look at the carpet and it's WET! The water from the rain storm came up and got our carpet wet!! 😔
• Sister Hyun asked me to teach her American slang words and I'm all like ok, are you SURE you want to learn them from me?? She said yes... which was her first mistake. So far I've taught her Yolo, SLAY, Donky Doug, SKRRRR, YEEETTT, and who the Kardashians are! 🤣

COUNT YOUR MANY BLESSINGS:
• I bought some baby spoons to eat my ice cream with!
• We came home one night and Sister Sear and Sister Phelps were tuning my Kalimba and surprised me! I almost cried from tears of joy!
• We got to go to Deseret Book!!
• I had taco soup this week! And sadly it made me sick! But it was all worth it!
• I've never had so much grape fruit in my life! 🫠 I now have an addiction!

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:
Me and Sister Hyun are playing the Paino for the Mission tour and fun fact: I can't lead music for the life of me... so we've been practicing how to stay in tune! And that relates to how can we rely on the spirit? President Russell M Nelson states
"In coming days, it will not be possible to survive spiritually without the guiding, directing, comforting, and constant influence of the Holy Ghost”
In what ways how can we be in tune with the Spirit?
