Im finally here!

Hello, friends as of Wednesday (I think) I left the MTC and made my way down to good old Arizona, AKA the promised land. lol. And wow oh boy, this week has been crazy, but at the same time very fulfilling. So President decided to put me in Coolidge, Arizona. You know that one scene in Cars where there staring at the blinking stop light... well there's tons of those here. And its very empty and spaced out. It looks like Radiator Springs here no joke!! Its also very sketchy, and there's a lot of homeless people.

This week:

-So at 3:37 am on Wednesday we had to say goodbye to Sister Bake and Becker (shout out to them), which was very bitter sweet and slightly depressing. There flying out to Tuscan, Arizona. I'll miss them all, but hey were mission neighbors! And then there's Sister Crockett and Heelis, which are further... in PERTH, AUSTRALIA!! Haha I miss them already! But I know that's where the Lord needs them to be. The weather down here isn't actually as bad as I thought it would be, Its actually kind of nice. Also apparently, it so hot here at night there's thunderstorms and their so cool, it looks like there's a disco party in the sky.

Funny stories:

Sometimes we like to read the youth album lyrics like a poem. Its so funny, and while we are reciting the lyrics we snap our fingers like at poetry reads. I'll have to send a video of it, its so funny.

- Sister Macharski's favorite word is Shawty and calls everyone shawty. I'm little shawty and Sister Hendrix is just Shawty.

Right now were teaching 6 different Jennifers, no joke. There are so many people named JENNIFER.

- The Sisters before us attached airplanes to the fan in the living room, and they just spin round and round. And sometimes we like to sit on the couch and watch them go round and round, like a bunch of cats.

Count your many blessings:

This week we visited Jennifer and she was so excited to learn more about the Gospel, I've never seen someone so excited to learn. She is so kind and soaked everything we taught her, I hope to see progress with her.

- I bought some Fruit by the Foots and it made me so happy.

- Apparently in the house we're currently staying at there has been no scorpion sightings there... so far. There always extra cautious about spraying around the house.

- Sister Macharski has been in Coolidge for a while... and its funny because she knows everyone, she knows the Walmart staff, Subway staff, and all the Mcdonalds staff. She'll just walk up to random workers there and ask them if they got the job they wanted, or how their kids are doing.

- Also I learned that my favorite noodle brand AuntChoons (I think) makes ramen noodles! They finally have more flavors!!

-Also there are so many sunsets here its so beautiful.

Spiritual thought:

This week I've been trying to understand my scripture study more so I can use the scriptures in lessons instead of frantically looking through Preach My Gospel. And I've found Mosiah 18, which talks about baptism, and were going to use it in our lesson with Chris! But this chapter has helped me gain a better understanding of baptism and the blessings that come with it. Baptism is just the first step. It opens the gate to many, many covenants. I challenge you to read it.
