first pday

Hello friends, the first week of home MTC woot, woot I'm exhausted but spiritually filled! I'm currently doing home MTC in my dark basement, and man I miss the sun, HA!

This week:

This week as I mentioned so far is exhausting there's a lot of running up and down stairs to grab some food during breaks! I am learning so much and gaining so many insights. I met my district and they're by far the coolest people I've ever met, we all get along so well, and like to joke around from time to time (shout out to them). This week I've really been pushed out of my comfort zone (it was really more of a shove than a push). I'm getting excited to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, and gaining a better understanding of the Gospel as a whole! And I met Sister Nordfelt (my companion) she's so cool and SUPER nice, I can't wait to meet her in person (Shout out to Sister Nordfelt).

Funny stories:

- I told my district that instead of using butter on my grilled cheese I use Mayo to cook it. And their reactions were PRICELESS, and I had to explain to them why it's better than using butter some weren't convinced, but I know I converted a few to try it. *evil laugh* (Thanks Austin for the recipe!!)

- Me and a few other missionaries in my district were in a breakout room on Zoom, and we finished our discussion early and began talking about what we would miss about our bodies after we die. Some said they'd miss eating, sleeping, and getting jacked! It was so funny!!

Count your many blessings:

-Mom brought me Milk Duds during class and Dad brought me Swig (Raspberry Dream to be exact) it gave me the energy to make it through the day, thanks, Mom and Dad! :)

- During the MTC devotionals (typically 600+ missionaries will attend) I noticed that some of the missionaries attending I knew and went to school with! It was comforting to see that I'm not in this alone and that I will know some people going into the MTC with me!

- We had a meeting with Tess (from Helping Others) and it went so well!! I will admit that I was terrified, I'm still very new to teaching, but the Spirit was there to help me and get me through the appointment!

Spiritual Nid Bit:

Mosiah 7:33 "But if ye will turn to the Lord with full purpose of heart, and put your trust in him, and serve him with all diligence of mind, if ye so this, he will, according to his own will and pleasure, deliver you out of bondage" I just want to testify that if you turn your heart towards Christ and willingly serve him, and have the sincere desire to change He will bless your lives.

Also, side note if there are any issues with the photos, feel free to let me know, I struggled to get them attached to the email!
