•It was a tender moment leaving my family and I will miss them, but I am so excited to go and serve the Lord!! This week's has been nuts (besides the fact that I've only been in the MTC for a couple days haha). I haven't really unpacked yet... and it might take me awhile to do so!! It has been so much fun hanging out with my district and getting to know them better (shout out to them)!!
Funny stories:
• When we got to our dorms and began to make our beds we noticed everything is COVERED in hair, human hair!!! The bedding and floor. I'm not usually grosses out by hair but this... this is different! Haha
• We played a super intense game of charades and tied (I don't know how to spell)!!! It was so close we were neck and neck the whole time!! Everyone was screaming and freaking out!!
Count your many blessings:
• Me and Sister Nordfelt thought we would be late to our first class and get lost, but we were able to find our classes right away, and we were early!!!
•We got to go do endowments with my district and it was so nice to just feel peace, relax and just feel Gods love at the temple.
• Sister Nordfelt wanted to do a piano audition for the upcoming devotionals on, but they filled up so fast. And she was unable to get an audition, buttttttt we looked at the sign up sheet recently and a spot opened!! And she's able to audition!! She's currently practicing and it sounds sooo good, wait a go Sister Nordfelt!!!
Spiritual thought:
• Last night we attended a devotional and the message was forget yourself and go to work. Sometimes its difficult for me to do that to completely dive in and go all in. I know it can be hard to do so, but I know as we follow the lord and forget ourselves we can be blessed.
