Hola Friends
this week has been rather neutral. We went on 2 exchanges and wow it was a lot of fun and a lot of work. Sister Macharsky wants me to lead out the area for the rest of the transfer so I'm dead inside. But were getting things DONE! Also crazy news I may be switching missions!! Our stake is splitting and Florence is being absorbed or we may get absorbed and Florence is in the Gilbert mission. So if we get absorbed then I'll officially be part of the Gilbert mission and if they get absorbed then they'll be part of the Tempe mission. So we're all a bit nervous about that, but it's a 50/50 chance I'll be changing missions! AH!! Also Sister Macharsky is going home in 3 weeks its been a little hard to find that motivation to work.
Funny stories:
• We were about to go home for the night and Sister Macharsky wanted to prank the Elders on our way (there house is like 5 minute drive from ours). And we pull up to there house and there garage door is open, this is the third time we've found it open! We're teaching there neighbors so we're there a lot. And I grabbed a huge bag of lifesavers mints and sprinkled them on the door and we left a passalong card. So it was more of a service than a prank?
• Me and Sister Pitcher were doing a service at the park. Behind us is this man. Who had a life-size rag doll with him. And he dressed the doll up as a girl with a wig and everything and was petting it and kissing it. It was so... interesting... I've seen him around town but I've never seen the doll this close before. Moral of the story don't do drugs.
Count your many blessings:
•Sister McCormick gave us these Super Yummy cookies!
•We were able to find some new friends this week all because Sister Macharsky had to use the bathroom her name is Amy!
• Jessica and Mike are flying through the Book of Mormon! Keep them in your prayers!
• I get to go to the temple 3 times in the next two weeks!!
• Members gave me bags and bags of M&M's yesterday at church, I almost cried from tears of joy!
Spiritual thought:
• So were reading a fourteen week PMG challenge and lately I've been trying to use the talents and gifts God gave me to help bring others come unto Christ. Here's a quote that stood out to me.
"As you consecrate your talents and gifts to Him, He will magnify them and work miracles with what you offer."
It's so true, because if you take the time to use your talents for the Lord He will magnify them and give you strength to do so.
