Ok, soo bad news... we got covid... that's it. We'll be quarantined for 10 days since we have it pretty bad... it disappoints......
This week:
- So as I said we got covid. It's going around down here and it's no fun. Remember to wash your hands and take your multivitamins! ha! We also got to meet some referrals this week John and Marsha and they are just the cutest couple, and so funny to!
They were referred to us by a member in the stake. Thank you Brother Marshall! Afterwards Brother Marshall took us out to this... sketchy chinese restaurant... the noodles were great! The chicken on the other hand was a BIT raw. lol. But, we've just been inside for the week resting up and I'm pretty sure I have a butt imprint on this couch because I've been living on this couch for again, the past 4 days. This week has been kind of rough.
There's been lots of health issues with our friends and lots of random moves from them so it's been difficult to keep track of everyone. We also had zone conference in Gilbert and it was so much fun! We had a training with President Phelps and the Ap's and It was so good the spirit was really there. Also I got to see some of my friends. I was able to catch up with Sister Hune and talk with her! Also my phone also has covid! ha!
Funny stories:
- When we were leaving to pick up some In and Out. I was backing up and behind me I saw some pigeons taking a bird bath in the sprinklers it was so cute!
- Speaking of birds, outside of our house we get tons of little little birds, and their interesting. Because they'll bury in the dirt against the fence and sleep their. Their so cute they'll also sleep and snuggle in the tree we have. Ah so cute!!
- We all have Covid brains right now and together share about 3 brain cells one for each of us and lets just say... Its been rough. I'm surprised the house hasn't burned down yet... because it's gotten a bit to close.
-So I mentioned John and Marsha. When we were getting to know them, we were laughing and joking with them. Then, Marsha stops the conversation immediately and looks directly at me and asks "Do you glow in the dark?" and I was all like "Excuse me, Marsha? *chuckles* No I do not glow in the dark". Lol. Marsha then goes on to tell us the story of when she was my age she was so pale that when she went to sleep over with her friends no one would want to sleep next to her because she glowed in the dark! I was all like "WHAT" Marsha thats not normal. And we were all laughing and bonding over our paleness. It was so funny! #paleclubforever #MarshaandMorgan
Count your many blessings:
- Someone sent me a Cravebox. So whoever did that. Thank you the treats are yummy!
- Fun fact: Sister Hendrix was a flight instructor and our house is directly over the flightpath. So whenever we go outside and see a plane, she can identify it from MILES away. I'm slowly starting to learn from her how to identify different kinds of planes! ha!
- Our friend Jenny brought us over soup and it was as yummy, THANK YOU JENNY!!
- Sister Hendrix and Sister Macharsky want to take me to the Casa Grande ruins. I want to go so bad, maybe we'll get to go today (probably a bad idea). But it's something to look foraward to!
- I finished by embroidery project, it only took me three days, but now I have expert level skills!!!!!
Spiritual thought:
- I kind of have Covid brain so bear with me. Recently, I've begun reading the first chapter in Ether. In the first chapter the people are being wicked and God says He's going to mix up their languages so they can't communicate with one another and the Brother of Jared prays to God and asks him to protect his family, and He does. It just dawned on me, that if you need anything just ask of God and He'll deliver you out of bondage. I encourage ya'll to read Ether 1
